I, Vladimir Alexandrovich Kyrov, was born in the village of Choya in the Altai Republic, on 1 January 1976. My mother’s a district polyclinic nurse, my father’s dairy worker.

In 1993, I had finished school and had entered the faculty of Physics and Mathematics at Gorno-Altaisk State University, which I graduated with honors in 1998.

As a student, I met Gennady G. Mykhaylychenko, one of the initiators of the Theory of Physical Structures. Led by Mykhaylychenko, I became involved in the research of the phenomenologically symmetric geometries. As a result of this work done, I was assigned to the postgraduate studies at GAGU, which I completed in 2002 while my thesis on “Helmholtz geometries and differential geometry of Helmholtz manifolds” was presented. My thesis defense took place in 2005 at the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics in Novosibirsk. I received a PhD in Physics and Mathematics the following year.

Now I’m working as an associate professor in the Physics Department at Gorno-Altaisk State University. My articles are regularly published in several scientific journals. I'm married with two kids.
